Coleman has a wide selection of fun queen air mattress beds. This site mentions frequently that inflatable beds have improved a lot in recent years, and no other brand displays that quite as well. They have recently come up with a few options that have new high tech features built into them that offer more than just a comfortable nights rest.

The Coleman Queen Quickbed with a Pump is a good option with quality air retention and heavy-duty PVC construction. The heavy duty make of this one makes it a particularly good option for camping trips or other heavy duty use. There are air coils (56 of them) that help ensure a comfortable nights rest. The beige suede top both looks nice and is very comfortable. The bed fits normal queen sized sheets, and the suede top helps keep the sheets in place and makes for a comfortable nights rest.

This inflatable mattress has double lock valves that help with air retention and make the bed inflate ten times faster than traditional pinch valves, and deflate 20 times faster. This bed comes up six inches off the ground, so its a lower bed than the ones listed above but it still has enough air that unless you’re sitting from high above you shouldn’t hit the ground. This mattress comes with a bag with a strap for easy portability.

For only a little bit more money you can step up to a very similar mattress, the Coleman Queen Quickbed with MP3 Speakers and Built in Pump. This mattress is very similar to the one described above, but has a pump already built into it (which is nice because you don’t have to keep track of an extra part to the bed, and it makes the bed more portable because the pump is smaller) and has speakers built in so you can plug in your MP3 player (or iPod) and listen to your favorite music while laying in bed. This is a fun new high tech option that will probably become more widely available with time but is currently a rare fun find.

Coleman has another bed with a similiarly cool feature, the Coleman Queen Quickbed with Alarm Clock and Built-In Pump. This is something that you would think would already be a more widespread idea because it makes so much sense, having an alarm clock built into your bed. Say while you’re out camping you want to make sure you get up in time for the sunrise, but don’t want to bring a bulky alarm clock with you in your backpack? No problem, it’s built into your bed. If you use the bed for guests they don’t have to bring their own. This is a very convenient option built into an already great bed.
